DESCRIPTION:Good Friday is one of the most solemn days in the Christian faith\, commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. In 2025\, it falls on April 18. It is a day of deep reflection\, mourning\, and gratitude for Jesus’ sacrifice for the salvation of humanity. \n\nThe Significance of Good Friday\n\nIt marks the day Jesus was arrested\, tried\, beaten\, and crucified at Golgotha (Calvary).\nHis death fulfilled the prophecy of the suffering servant in Isaiah 53\, bearing the sins of the world.\nJesus’ last words on the cross include:“It is finished!” (John 19:30)\, signifying the completion of God’s plan for redemption.\nAt His death\, the temple veil was torn in two (Matthew 27:51)\, symbolizing that we now have direct access to God through Christ.
